Mario’s jiujitsu journey began in early 2023 after his youngest child took up the sport the previous fall. Encouraged by his wife, who also started training, he quickly fell in love with the art. From the start, he dedicated himself to training five to six days a week, earning his blue belt just a year later in April.
A lifelong athlete, Mario has always been passionate about movement and fitness. From running half marathons for fun to strength and power training since childhood, he brings a deep understanding of body mechanics to his jiujitsu practice. He has competed as both a white and blue belt, earning a gold and two silver medals across four tournaments.
For Mario, jiujitsu is more than a sport—it’s a family pursuit. Training together has strengthened not only his skills but also his bond with his wife and children. As a coach, he is excited to share his knowledge, discipline, and love for the art with others.
